Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for decision-making related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring quality standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing duties at the highest level. Assist in training and mentoring other associates.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, and implement related action plans.
- Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, and seeking continuous improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00. Actual pay will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in a fresh production department
- Ability to successfully complete required training and assessments
- Must be 18 years or older
