Job summary

BoldAge PACE is seeking a Food Services Supervisor under the supervision of the Operations Director to plan, organize and manage the daily operation of the Food Services Department. This role oversees meal services and ensures the kitchen meets dietary guidelines and BoldAge quality standards.

Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to ensure dietary care plans and physician orders are met, including planning monthly menus compliant with CACFP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Two years working in dietary services including meal planning and preparation.
• Minimum one year experience working with elderly population; training may be provided upon hire.
• High school diploma or GED required; Serve Safe Certified preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage the daily operation of the Food Services Department.
• Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to ensure dietary care plans and CACFP guidelines are met.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, inventory, and cleanliness with logs for temperatures and equipment calibration.
• Prepare and serve meals that meet nutritional standards and portion guidelines.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring Serv-Safe certification where required.
• Manage food and equipment ordering, expenditures and invoice approvals.
