High Rise Capital seeks a seasoned Merchant Cash Advance Underwriter to join our New York in-house underwriting team. This senior-level role reviews complex six- and seven-figure files, balancing risk with strategic structuring and pricing decisions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years direct MCA underwriting, expert bank statement analysis, and proven ability to manage a high-volume workflow in a fast-paced environment, with clear documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years direct MCA underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting high-risk and stacked files.
• Strong bank statement analysis and debt ratio skills.
• Ability to independently approve, counter, or decline files with clear rationale.
• Excellent documentation and ability to manage high daily volume.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite MCA transactions across all risk tiers and deal sizes.
• Structure and price complex transactions with clear rationale.
• Collaborate with closers, brokers and management to close deals.
• Monitor portfolio performance and adhere to risk controls.
