Job summary

Highrise Capital is seeking an experienced Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) Underwriter to join our growing funding team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on MCA underwriting experience and possess a strong understanding of risk assessment, cash flow analysis, and deal structuring.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have previous MCA underwriting experience and the ability to independently evaluate business funding applications, analyze bank statements, assess risk, and make

Qualifications

• Prior MCA underwriting experience required.
• Ability to independently evaluate funding applications.
• Experience reviewing bank statements and cash flow.
• Knowledge of MCA stacking and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate positions, payments, and stacking exposure.
• Assess business risk and repayment ability.
• Determine funding amounts, terms, and risk positions.
• Review credit reports and supporting docs.
• Identify red flags and potential fraud.
• Coordinate with brokers and funding partners.
• Make timely underwriting decisions and maintain deal quality.
