Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead architecture and requirements for rapid‑development programs including missiles and launch platforms. This onsite role requires U.S.

citizenship and a Secret security clearance; relocation assistance is available. You will define subsystems, verify through MBSE with Cameo, collaborate with Software, Hardware, Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing, act as Responsible Engineering Authority, oversee flight test activities, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, TAs, IPTLs, REAs to inform design decisions.
• Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo to define, decompose, or verify requirements.
• Experience in at least two areas of the System‑V model.
• Strong written and oral communications and technical writing.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Advanced degree and DoD familiarity preferred.

• Preferred: Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics; experience with cPDM, CCB, and formal release documents; experience with requirements management and linking architecture and verification artifacts in Cameo; familiarity with military systems and DoD infrastructure.
