Job summary

The MITRE Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support government mission needs across complex environments. You will define, architect, integrate, test, and transition systems using MBSE and traditional methods.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a Master’s, or a PhD.
• Experience applying systems engineering to complex, mission-focused systems.
• Active Secret U.S. Government clearance required.
• Ability to work on-site 4 days per week at sponsor locations.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering across lifecycle from analysis to deployment.
• Translate needs into architectures, requirements, and roadmaps.
• Develop, assess, and refine architectures and interfaces.
• Conduct trade studies, risk analyses, and integration planning.
• Collaborate with government sponsors and cross-functional teams.
