Job summary

MITRE seeks an Associate Systems Engineer to support the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise systems for federal sponsors. You will leverage systems engineering methods to link requirements, architectures, and mission needs across complex programs.

The role requires a Secret/Top Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a minimum four days on-site at MITRE locations in Massachusetts. The position offers challenges across national security, cybersecurity, and public-interest

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
• Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
• Interest in complex multi-disciplinary problems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for Secret/Top Secret clearance.
• Position requires a minimum of four days on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise systems.
• Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, and data analytics.
• Evaluate architectures using qualitative and quantitative approaches.
• Develop metrics to measure robustness, interoperability, and maintainability.
• Support requirements, interface, and architecture change processes.
• Perform system design, development, and modernization across programs.
• Collaborate across government-sponsored projects in small to large teams.
