Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to join a new Digital Transformation group within Electronic Solutions. You will advance digital engineering through RBE/MBSE, defining standards, and guiding adoption across CoEs.

The role emphasizes hands‑on modeling, traceability, and cross‑functional collaboration with hardware, software, and test teams. You will work with SysML, CAMEO, DOORS NG, and Jira to enable rapid, scalable system development and ongoing process

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
5–8+ years of experience in systems engineering and MBSE roles.
Hands‑on experience with CAMEO Systems Modeler and a strong understanding of SysML.
Working knowledge of requirements tools (DOORS NG and Jira).

Responsibilities

Define, document, and mature digital transformation standards, processes, methods, and best practices for RBE and MBSE.
Partner with Centers of Excellence to assist engineering teams in adopting digital transformation processes.
Provide hands‑on guidance in SysML, requirements management, system modeling, and traceability.
Assist in integrating digital engineering into lifecycles: requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, and validation.
Promote use of digital tools (CAMEO, DOORS NG, Jira) to improve traceability and collaboration.
Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, test, safety and other disciplines to standardize digital engineering approaches.
