Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / MBSE Lead to support NAVAIR aircraft survivability and electronic warfare programs. You will drive requirements development, architecture definition, interface modeling, and verification coordination with government and industry partners.

The role emphasizes MBSE with SysML, Cameo modeling, and collaboration across distributed teams. Travel a few times per year and proximity to Patuxent River, MD or King of Prussia, PA are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in requirements development, decomposition, allocation, traceability and validation.
• Modeling with MBSE practices using SysML and Cameo is required.
• Clear communication and ability to lead technical meetings across teams.
• Willingness to travel and eligible for US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering support for Navy avionics and EW programs.
• Develop, decompose, allocate, trace, and verify system requirements and interfaces.
• Create SysML architecture models and maintain traceability.
• Coordinate with government, labs, and industry for verification activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
