Job summary

STR is seeking a Principal Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our team across DoD programs from our Woburn, MA location (Arlington, VA and Dayton, OH also referenced). The role leads MBSE efforts, mentors engineers, and ensures traceability from requirements through deployment using SysML/Cameo.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in systems engineering, 5+ years with SysML in Cameo, and active clearance with potential Top Secret eligibility, plus strong leadership and software

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Minimum of 10 years work experience as a Systems Engineer or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with SysML models in Cameo (or similar tool).
• Experience with software-intensive systems and open architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead development programs through the Systems Engineering process using MBSE approaches that support DoD Digital Engineering goals.
• Lead teams and implementing rigorous MBSE approaches using SysML in Cameo (MagicDraw).
• Provide mentorship and training of Systems Engineers on the use of MBSE.
• Work closely with domain experts and software development teams to realize program designs and digital engineering goals.
