Job summary

SkyGrid, a Wisk Company, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to define and architect systems across the MBSE-driven lifecycle. You will develop requirements, create SysML models, and support certification planning while collaborating with multiple disciplines and product teams.

The role emphasizes MBSE artifacts, requirements traceability, and compliance with ARP4754B/ARP4761A. A hybrid or fully remote arrangement is possible, reporting to Systems Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited university.
• 7+ years in a highly technical aerospace-related industry.
• 5+ years as a Systems Engineer.
• Experience applying MBSE principles using SysML and MBSE tools.
• Familiarity with ARP4754B and ARP4761A.

Responsibilities

• Develop system requirements from internal and external inputs.
• Maintain SysML models (Use Case, Activity, Sequence, State) using MBSE tools.
• Advance design through validation, implementation, verification, and certification.
• Lead or support ARP4754B development practices and artifacts.
• Ensure compliance with certification, cyber security, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with team members and supervise junior staff.
