Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior MBSE Modeler to develop and sustain complex space and ground systems. You will build and maintain system models using MBSE tools to support architecture definition, requirements development, and design analysis.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure traceability across requirements and interfaces, and contribute to design reviews, risk analyses, and engineering proposals while traveling to conferences and

Qualifications

• Over 10 years engineering experience with systems-based programs.
• BS in SE, CS, EE, ME or equivalent engineering field.
• Current, active Secret security clearance is required.
• Hands-on SysML and MBSE tooling experience, preferably Cameo.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system models to support architecture and design analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model accuracy and alignment with design.
• Translate stakeholder needs into formal MBSE artifacts and architectural views.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, behaviors, structures, interfaces and verifications.
• Support technical reviews and program milestones using model-derived artifacts.
• Participate in configuration management of MBSE repositories and modeling environments.
• Present technical concepts to customers and internal teams.
