Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking a System Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO (or remote) to support engineering activities meeting contractual requirements.

The role emphasizes developing and modeling requirements, contributing to system design documentation, and leveraging existing analytical models, with capability to develop new models as needed. The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and experience in the defense and aerospace sectors, including space systems, and must

Qualifications

• BS in SE, CS, EE, ME or other engineering equivalent
• Experience in Defense and/or Aerospace industry with space systems knowledge
• Familiarity with aerospace design and verification processes
• Sense of ownership, urgency, and drive to accomplish results
• Must be able to obtain Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Support the System Engineering team to ensure contractual requirements and deliverables are met on schedule
• Collaborate with system developers, test, and on-site user support to update systems and resolve issues
• Perform requirements analysis and support system design and architecture
• Support program Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
• Participate in CDRL/SDRL generation and deliveries per customer schedule
• Provide technical advice to customers on architectures and potential solutions
• Develop and deliver customer presentations for design reviews, status, kickoff meetings, and test plans
