Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab technician to perform testing and inspection of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will document results and prepare reports for the Project Manager while ensuring safety and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project staff, assisting with scheduling, maintaining equipment, and adhering to Terracon's safety standards on site. A valid driver’s license and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed in accordance with training and procedures.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Performs basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before submittal to the Project Manager.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by the PM.
• May train lower level technicians and lead activities on projects.
