Job summary

Terracon in the United States is seeking a skilled technician to perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will communicate findings with project managers, engineers, clients, and contractors, and prepare data reports for daily submission.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 10 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Word and Excel, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience or the equivalent in training and related experience.
• Experience with laptop computer use and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicates findings with Project Manager, engineers, clients and contractors.
• Prepares and submits data and observations in reports for daily transmittal.
• Maintains equipment and supports scheduling and dispatch of technicians.
• Adheres to safety standards on all projects.
