Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials across soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will coordinate with the project manager, technicians, client representatives, and contractors to ensure testing requirements and results meet project needs.

You will prepare and submit data and observations in written and digital formats, maintain equipment, and follow strict safety standards on all sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed per procedures.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Performs basic data analysis to verify accuracy before PM submission.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed.
• Leads and trains technicians on projects when needed.
• Maintains equipment and calibration; adheres to safety rules.
