Job summary

Terracon is seeking a materials testing professional to perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials. You will communicate with project staff, transport samples, and prepare data and reports for daily transmission to the Project Manager.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 3–5 years of related experience, plus proficiency with Word/Excel and a valid driver’s license. NICET/AWS/ASNT and similar certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related training/experience considered.
• Experience with field sampling, testing, and reporting is needed.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; ability to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform field/lab testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Prepare, submit data and inspection reports to Project Manager.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and work areas; ensure safety standards.
