Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Field/Lab Technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel.

You will communicate results to the Project Manager and document findings in written and digital reports for daily transmission to the Terracon Project Manager. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of relevant experience, plus proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience or training.
• Experience with laptop computer use and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed in accordance with training and procedures.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed.
• Maintains equipment and ensures calibration as required.
• Adheres to safety rules and project safety requirements.
