RTX is seeking a Senior M&PE Program Lead in Tucson, AZ to drive materials design, development, and manufacturing for missile hardware. This onsite role requires active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship, with responsibilities across program reviews, MRB/CCB participation, and cost/schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate will mentor junior engineers, coordinate cross‑discipline teams, and present technical results to large audiences. Relocation assistance may be considered.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience solving materials issues and selecting alternate materials or coatings.
• Experience with mechanical tests and chemical analysis methods.

Responsabilités

• Provide M&P support for program review board meetings.
• Ensure peer reviews and alignment with program deliverables.
• Manage workload to support schedule needs.
• Lead trade studies to identify materials, properties, and processes.
• Document material Justifications and cost/schedule compliance.
• Mentor and train early career engineers.
• Participate on Failure Investigation Teams for technical support.
• Support proposals with M&P tasks.
• Present data or position to large technical audiences.
