Job summary

The Structures Company in Savannah, GA is seeking a Materials and Processes Engineer for a long-term contract. You will select methods, resolve complex engineering issues, and balance technical objectives with cost and schedule.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 10 years in a related discipline or 15 years across multiple disciplines, ITAR compliance, and experience with Smarteam and Catia to review designs and generate test plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical curriculum applicable to the job.
• 10 years in a specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience.
• Experience with external suppliers and internal multi-engineering disciplines preferred.
• Experience producing EAR approved test plans and results reports.

Responsibilities

• Selects appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.
• Anticipates and resolves complex issues while developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.
• Balances technical product, cost, and schedule in problem solving.
• Reviews proposed designs and workflows using Smarteam and Catia.
• Generates and communicates technical requirements to external suppliers and internal multi-engineering disciplines.
• Performs manufacturing liaison MRB integration and implements continuous improvement projects.
