Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in McKinney, TX is seeking a Senior Material and Process Engineer to join the M&P team. You will develop and maintain material specifications, manage gear parts data in cpDM, and drive material-related producibility improvements across multiple product lines.

The role requires a university degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, strong datasheet interpretation, and excellent technical writing.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience interpreting technical datasheets,Mil-Standard and ASTM.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information.
• High level of professional technical writing skills.
• In-depth knowledge of material characteristics and selection.

Responsibilities

• Manage material in Common Product Data Management (cPDM) including gear part data.
• Identify material and process improvements to meet new product requirements.
• Create and maintain material and process specifications.
• Support rapid response to address production interruptions due to M&P issues.
