Job summary

Raytheon Technologies, based in the McKinney, Texas area, seeks a materials management professional to manage material flow, scheduling, and inventory across shop floors using MRP systems. You will ensure material availability, resolve shortages, and support weekly IPT/PPR meetings with programs.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with SAP Kinaxis CMES or similar tools is preferred. Onsite role with US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with SAP Kinaxis, CMES or similar software or other Material Requirements Planning Tools.
• Knowledge and experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI).
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering or related manufacturing engineering ideally in a government contractor environment similar to Raytheon Technologies.
• Ability to perform material inventory audits and movement of material within the factory and building. Must be able to lift per RTX EHS Lifting Guidelines.
• U.S. Citizenship is required as the position will require the ability to access US only data systems

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Weekly input of material updates on applicable reporting tools.
• Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
• Reporting on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions; and taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
• Conducting quarterly physical inventory cycle counts and reconciling the system.
• Expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
• Performing movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other area) as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining stacked LOB and extracting impact data for weekly analysis in support of IPT/PPR meetings with programs.
• Attend and support weekly program and factory meetings
