Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Materials Planning, SIOP in McKinney, TX. The role focuses on aligning material position with production schedules across multiple MRP systems in a clean room environment.

The candidate will coordinate program requirements, provide status updates on materials and capacity, and work with process planners to resolve shortages while ensuring timely work orders and inventory accuracy. This onsite role emphasizes reliability and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Work in a clean room environment 95% of the day wearing all required safety PPE.
• Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Working with Process Planners and FAST staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
• Preparing work orders for the production of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
• Reporting on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions; and taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
• Conducting periodic physical inventory cycle counts and reconciling the system.
• Expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
