Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Materials Coordinator to lead day-to-day production planning and scheduling, while handling material logistics including shipping, receiving, and kitting for assembly. You will partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement to align plans with demand, capacity, and regulatory requirements.

You will provide functional leadership to assembly technicians, pursue continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to Stryker’s quality systems and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, materials management, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for planning and inventory.
• Experience with inventory control including cycle counting and reconciliation.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production schedules aligned with demand and inventory targets.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans as needed.
• Balance labor, capacity, and material constraints for efficiency.
• Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems including lead times and routing.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate daily shipping/receiving and communicate with carriers.
• Pull and kit production materials before shifts starts.
• Analyze metrics and drive process improvements for planning and reliability.
