Job summary

Stryker is seeking a production planning professional to develop and execute schedules that meet customer demand while balancing inventory targets and service levels. You will maintain ERP/MRP data, manage cycle counts, and coordinate materials to support assembly teams.

With 3+ years in a manufacturing setting, you will analyze planning metrics, communicate priorities and risks to stakeholders, and implement improvements to boost planning efficiency and supply reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, materials management, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• Experience performing inventory control activities, including cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including hand trucks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production schedules aligned with demand and service targets.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans based on demand or priorities.
• Balance labor, capacity, and material constraints for efficient operations.
• Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems (lead times, lot sizes, routing).
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory to maintain accuracy.
• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving and liaise with parcel carriers.
• Pull and kit production materials for shift-start.
• Analyze planning and inventory metrics and communicate risks to stakeholders.
