Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a seasoned Materials and Manufacturing Planning Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and inventory optimization for the site. You will partner with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics on strategic material plans and big initiatives.

The role requires 5–10 years in a controlling/audit-like setting, APICS/CPM certification preferred, and strong ERP/Oracle experience. Bilingual in German and English is an advantage; MBA preferred.

Qualifications

BA or BS in Business Administration or related field.
5-10 years of experience in a controlling role or related field.
APICS or CPM certification preferred; MBA strongly preferred.
Knowledge of SIOP and production scheduling dynamics; cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

Direct materials and manufacturing planning, production control, and material control functions.
Develop performance metrics and aggressive improvements; report results regularly.
Manage planning and flow of materials and finished goods to optimize delivery and inventory.
Lead a team of buyers and planners; develop training plans and conduct performance reviews.
Support SIOP process; collaborate with procurement and logistics on material plans.
Drive continuous improvement and implement best-in-class supply chain practices.
Oversee ERP implementations and enhancement of planning/purchasing tools.
