Job summary

Biogen seeks a Materials Control Lead to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient material movement. You will co-lead a 6-10 person team, coordinating daily activities with production, QC, and planning to meet timelines in a cGMP setting.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure GxP and safety training, and support SOP revisions while maintaining compliance. This role reports to site operations leadership and requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Associate’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• High school diploma with at least 5 years in materials management
• Experience with cycle count programs and inventory audits
• Warehouse operations leadership experience
• Forklift experience or training
• Strong communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse activities including receiving and shipping of materials
• Coordinate team workload to maintain operational efficiency and schedule adherence
• Investigate stock discrepancies and cycle count variances
• Collaborate across functions to support production and materials planning
• Drive continuous improvement in materials management processes
• Ensure completion of GxP and safety training requirements
• Support SOP revisions, deviations, and Good Control Compliance
• Monitor timely completion of departmental work orders
• Other job duties as required
