Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in over 20 years. It integrates clinical care with community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and an Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This system ensures high-quality care access for residents of Wards 7 and 8.

The hospital includes 136 beds (expandable to 184), a trauma center, emergency departments, maternal and newborn care, outpatient clinics, a parking garage, and a helipad.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Materials Handler (Senior) to oversee stock supplies, inventory control, and distribution of materials and equipment in the Supply Chain Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in receiving, inspecting for damage, and matching supplies to purchase orders.
• Assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels without excess inventory.
• Replenish supplies accurately and timely at assigned locations.
• Ensure storage meets JCAHO requirements.
• Participate in stock rotation, inventory audits, and respond promptly to inventory inquiries.
• Supervise Materials Handlers in the absence of the Supervisor or Manager.
