Position Summary & Responsibilities

Starting pay for this role is $17.50/hr. Normal working hours are anticipated to be Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm. The Sr Material Handler performs shipping, material movement, and receiving duties, and confirms inventory levels. This role impacts internal and external customers, as well as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality goals. Routine contacts include Sales Administration, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Material Handling, and Planning.

1. Pulls and packs product orders, checks lot numbers, package weights, and prepares carrier documentation.
2. Receives and processes products from manufacturing or suppliers, ensuring proper identification and labeling.
3. Stocks products after approval, maintaining 5S, inventory accuracy, and safety.
4. Counts physical inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
5. Processes paperwork for material transactions.
6. Maintains warehouse and work areas following 5S principles; participates in audits.
7. Follows safety policies and maintains compliant warehouse activities.
8. Works with team leaders to ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, and FDA guidelines.
9. May operate trucks for material transport.
10. Provides training within the department.
11. Identifies areas for improvement to enhance accuracy and reduce errors.

Education, Skills, & Experience

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or data entry.
• Proficient in computer data entry/retrieval.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with material handling equipment preferred.
• Truck driving experience preferred.
