Job Description

The schedule for this position is M-F days/1st shift - subject to change to a 2-2-3 days rotation in the future, dependent on department needs.

As a Warehouse Sr. Materials Handler at our Research Triangle Park (RTP) facility, you will be essential to our Labeling and Packaging operations for bottles, vials, blisters, and syringes. You will play a key role in delivering life-changing therapies to patients. This position offers a unique chance to engage in both the startup and ongoing operations phases, providing a well-rounded experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to develop and refine your skills, gaining hands-on experience during our dynamic startup phase, including generating processes and procedures such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

What You’ll Do

  1. Receive GMP material using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) following applicable procedures.
  2. Process Move Orders for Manufacturing and Labs using the WMS.
  3. Perform cycle counts following applicable procedures.
  4. Maintain all Materials Management training and required GXP trainings, ensuring 100% completion.
  5. Operate Powered Industrial Trucks safely.
  6. Apply company policies and procedures, follow cGMP guidelines, and communicate effectively with team members and supervision.
Qualifications
  • Completed High School Diploma or Equivalent, plus a minimum of 3 years of warehouse/materials management experience in a GMP environment.
  • Experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks: forklifts, order selectors, electric pallet jacks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey process information; ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.

Physical Mobility Requirements:

  • Stand for four hours, walk for three hours, sit for three hours, kneel or bend for one hour, perform upper body twisting for half an hour, and climb steps for half an hour during normal duties.
  • Lift and move up to 35 pounds regularly; occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with assistance for up to 100 feet; push/pull over 100 pounds.
  • Operate equipment such as telephones, computers, hand tools, forklifts, and order selectors with sufficient dexterity.
  • Wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection.
Additional Information

The hourly rate range for this position is $20.67 - $26.92. The offered salary is determined by skills, experience, location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible for short-term and long-term incentives, including cash bonuses and equity opportunities, based on individual and company performance.
