Job summary

Sportworks, located in Monroe, WA, is seeking a Materials Coordinator III to support warehouse and materials management operations. You will help ensure smooth material flow, keeping supplies organized and readily available for production teams, while responding to changing demands and maintaining efficiency.

The role emphasizes hands-on coordination, collaboration with production and warehouse staff, and adherence to safety and lean practices. On-site at our Monroe headquarters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management is a plus.
• 7+ years operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with certification within 60 days of employment.
• 7+ years experience as Water Spider or warehouse coordination role.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Agility and physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving materials.
• Proficiency with computerized inventory management systems.
• Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking materials.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to move materials and products to/from storage areas.
• Keep materials organized, labeled, and stored properly for efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or surpluses.
• Conduct cycle counts and report discrepancies to lead or supervisor.
• Respond promptly to material requests and ensure timely replenishment for production.
• Implement lean principles and 5S to minimize waste and optimize layouts.
• Maintain detailed records of material movements and generate reports for decision-making.
• Assist quality control with inspections and audits of materials.
