Job summary

Sportech, Elk River, MN, is seeking an inventory coordinator to maintain raw materials stock, track on-order and in-process items, and provide timely material data to production schedulers to keep operations moving smoothly. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, physical ability to lift, accurate counting, and comfortable using basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Basic computer skills to access inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an inventory of raw materials, work-in-progress, and on-order items.
• Provide inventory information to production schedulers and assist in planning.
• Coordinate material movement to and from manufacturing in a timely manner.
• Review and support daily production schedules and coverage.
• Communicate shortages or overages to supervisors and assist in problem-solving.
• Support 5S, safety procedures, and incident reporting as needed.
• Participate in cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and reporting to finance.
