Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking engineers to support Space Programs by analyzing test data and performing contamination control activities. You will derive requirements, perform analyses, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials and processes meet design objectives.

The role involves mentoring early to mid-career staff, leading solutions to complex challenges, and coordinating with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Contamination, materials, or process (PMP) background is required.
• Experience with cleanrooms, precision cleaning, materials testing, or thermal vacuum test.
• Knowledge of analytical lab equipment or techniques for contamination monitoring.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph (US citizenship) to start.

Responsibilities

• Analyze test data and provide contamination control support for Space Programs.
• Derive, verify, and perform contamination analyses and requirements.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement.
• Mentor and train early to mid-career engineers and lead solutions to complex technical challenges.
