Job summary

DreamFields is seeking a Materials Coordinator II to optimize material flow, coordinate inventory, and lead small projects within our Supply Chain. You will work across departments to ensure timely material movement and accurate documentation, influencing improvements in forecasting and waste reduction.

The role requires experience with ERP/WMS systems, strong Excel/data analysis skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff. This is a full-time on-site position in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control or material coordination.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or other inventory management systems is required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience leading small projects or training teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely delivery and allocation of materials to production, maintaining stock for optimal flow.
• Lead cross-department efforts to streamline material transfer and storage and resolve bottlenecks.
• Validate and reconcile inbound material transfers per production requirements.
• Perform regular cycle counts and advanced inventory reconciliation tasks.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and monitor advanced inventory control measures complying with SOPs and state regulations.
• Collaborate on material forecasting to ensure adequate stock for production needs.
• Track production waste metrics and suggest process improvements.
• Report material usage trends and improvement opportunities to management.
• Maintain KPIs for material usage, waste, and efficiency with updated reports.
