Job summary

DreamFields is seeking a Materials Coordinator I to manage the accurate movement, tracking, and reporting of raw materials across production. You will ensure timely delivery to production pods and maintain data integrity.

Working with production teams, you'll monitor material usage, waste metrics, and inventory levels to improve efficiency and compliance with state regulations. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, regular auditing, and KPI reporting to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control or a manufacturing environment with responsibilities for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP, WMS, or other inventory management systems.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of materials to production pods, maintaining adequate stock levels to prevent disruptions in production.
• Manage inventory across various software platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all data entries.
• Validate and reconcile inbound material transfers from the warehouse and other departments, confirming correct quantities, color, size, and other specifications.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and maintain accurate documentation of all inventory movements.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies in material tracking, collaborating with relevant teams.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations related to the storage and movement of raw materials.
• Track and document production waste, analyzing the data to identify patterns, trends, or anomalies, and investigate potential causes to minimize future waste.
• Communicate findings and improvement suggestions to management and the production team to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain KPIs related to material usage, waste, and inventory accuracy, providing regular data reports to management.
