Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7+ years in materials control, warehousing, logistics or materials mgmt in EPC/EPCM.
• Strong knowledge of materials control systems and inventory management.
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Experience leading activities and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate site materials control systems for construction activities.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and project docs to determine material requirements.
• Coordinate receipt, inspection, storage, issuing and distribution of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate materials records.
• Track material availability, deliveries, shortages and status against schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, warehouse, logistics and construction teams.
• Ensure proper identification, preservation, and handling of materials per procedures.
• Prepare reports and material status analyses for management and decisions.
• Assist with audits, reconciliations and surplus material management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior material controllers.
