Job summary

Worley seeks a Manager, Material Controls to lead material requirements definition, inventory controls, and the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials for major construction projects. You will work with Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Construction teams to ensure timely availability and accurate reporting.

The role emphasizes proactive material flow management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in warehouse operations and field readiness for complex industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in material controls or related fields on large projects.
• Experience supporting EPC/industrial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of receiving, storage, issuance, inventory management, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all material control activities to support safe, efficient project execution.
• Develop and implement material control strategies aligned with project plans.
• Manage material control personnel and warehouse teams.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Expediting, Engineering, Construction, and Project Controls.
• Establish inventory controls and reporting processes.
• Monitor material availability and mitigate shortages or risks.
• Oversee material receiving, storage, and distribution.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with requirements and standards.
• Support project leadership with status reports and forecasts.
