Job summary

BTX Precision is seeking a senior Materials Control Specialist to oversee complex material flow from receipt to production. You will independently handle material transactions, ensure traceability, and minimize discrepancies while supporting ERP accuracy and training team members.

You will coordinate with Production Control to resolve readiness issues, support urgent needs, and maintain disciplined material handling practices in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with ERP/MRP inventory and material transactions
• Ability to read engineering drawings, purchase orders, and job travelers
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Experience in aerospace/regulated environments preferred
• Knowledge of material identification, lot/heat traceability
• Proficiency in handling shipping/receiving documentation

Responsibilities

• Execute and support advanced material flow activities across receiving, shipping, inventory control and production support
• Resolve routine ERP, inventory, or material discrepancies
• Verify material IDs, quantities, locations, and documentation before movement
• Ensure material readiness and staging for scheduled operations
• Maintain traceability and accurate ERP transactions
• Provide guidance and training to Materials Control Coordinators
