Job summary

Advanced Containment Systems, Inc. in Houston, TX, is seeking a Materials Supervisor to lead the day-to-day materials management across warehouses and the manufacturing plant.

You will supervise staff, manage inventory and cycle counts, ensure accurate receiving and ERP issuance, and drive on-time material delivery. You will employ root-cause analysis and continuous improvement to uphold safety and ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in materials supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department personnel including material handler(s), forklift operator(s), and receiver(s).
• Inventory control and cycle count program management.
• Materials received accurately and issued to jobs electronically in the ERP system.
• Timely delivery of materials throughout the facility.
• Root cause analysis for receiving/inventory discrepancies.
• Lead continuous improvement in your area.
• Enforce all company policies.
• Create and enforce a safe work environment and safety rules.
• Ensure department personnel follow Safety guidelines and programs.
• Assure warehouse ISO program compliance through managers and supervisors.
