We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Materials and Welding Engineer to join our team at our Houston office.

What will you be doing?

1. Independently evaluate, organize, and prioritize projects with minimal supervision.
2. Review and familiarize with client specifications during Tender and Projects.
3. Provide specialist skills and knowledge in materials and welding engineering.
4. Produce data sheets for component procurement and oversee the process.
5. Review material test reports, welding procedure packages, and NDT procedures in accordance with industry codes, standards, and client specifications.
6. Contribute to training and development while innovating solutions.

What experience would we like you to have?

• Bachelor of Science in Weld Engineering, Metallurgy, or Material Science with 7 years’ practical experience.
• Fluent in written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient with common business software tools.
• Experience with subsea fabrication, welding, and materials, including various subsea components and structures.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector or Certified Welding Engineer.
• Experience with NDE methods, preferably at Level III.
• Knowledge of offshore operator’s materials and welding specifications.
• Experience with welding of pressure vessels and steel structures.
• Experience with line pipe manufacture and testing.
• Experience with hot induction bending of pipe.
• Knowledge of forging, materials processing, flanged connections, and subsea cathodic protection systems.
