Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Proposal Analyst to lead the development and analysis of material proposals for development, production, and contract modifications. This onsite role supports cross-functional teams and ensures compliance with FAR and internal requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of estimating and pricing experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the development, analysis and completion of material proposals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand and evaluate material and direct costs for proposed contracts.
• Utilize estimating and pricing programs and tools.
• Lead the development of Material Basis of Estimates and validate supplier quotes and PO history.
• Ensure proposals comply with FAR and internal requirements.
• Develop and implement solutions for a thorough material package.
• Perform detailed analysis of inputs to ensure soundness of material estimates.
