Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to lead Integrated Supply Chain activities on the Undersea program. Remote role; collaborate with Supply Chain Lead, IPTs, Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure supplier performance and program success.

Ideal candidates hold a university degree (or advanced degree) with 7–10+ years in aerospace/defense supply chain, including prime contracts/SOWs, and the ability to operate in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Aerospace and defense supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supply Chain Lead, Program Management, IPTs, Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure supplier performance and program success.
• Develop and execute material strategies to support customer requirements and program objectives.
• Engage with Procurement to generate RFPs/RFQs and support supplier negotiations.
• Prepare gate reviews and support proposals for suppliers and SCM teams.
• Assist in generating SSOWs, and managing SCM material sales, EAC, risks and opportunities.
