Job summary

RTX Corporation in McKinney, TX seeks an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Programs Operations & Supply Chain team. The role interfaces with Engineering, Program Operations, and Production Control to drive material strategy from front end through contract closure, ensuring on‑time delivery and cost control in a dynamic aerospace environment.

The candidate will own P2P processes, manage LRE/EAC, supervise supplier engagements, and contribute to program pricing and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Experience managing supplier performance relative to financials and contract compliance.
• Experience in Material Forecasting, MRP, EAC and EV.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage Purchase Requisitions and POs using MRFs/MSALT.
• Coordinate purchasing with Engineering, OPS & Planning.
• Own LRE/EAC process and track portfolio sales vs forecasts.
• Plan and execute sourcing decisions and Make/Buy/Where processes.
• Develop Material Program Plan (MPP) and Supplier Management Plans (SMPs).
• Generate RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals/quotes.
• Oversee TINA suppliers and collaborate with IPTs for cost-effective material.
• Assist with SSOWs and draft Material Contracts Briefs (MCBs).
• Identify contract flow-downs and attachments; manage modifications (TCMs).
• Participate in supplier reviews to ensure performance.
• Support capture efforts for compliant pricing and BOEs.
• Monitor cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS metrics.
• Provide Supply Chain support for RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM).
• Maintain Investment Sales Forecasts, S&OPs, and Annual Operating Plans.
• Develop risk/opportunity plans and enforce best practices with suppliers.
• Travel domestically up to 25%.
