Position

NSMS Manager, Supply Chain Management for the Standard Missile portfolio to support Production Assurance efforts within the Naval Standard Missile Systems Production (NSMS) area of Naval Power at the Tucson, Arizona site. Location: Tucson, Arizona (US-AZ-TUCSON-808). Position type: Onsite. Security clearance: Secret.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives.
• Lead by influence in a matrixed organization.
• Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans.
• Provide customer Proposal support including generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s) and labor basis of estimates (BOEs).
• Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives.
• Manage financial aspects such as EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts; may act as Control Account Manager.
• Own the supplier management process, including Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance metrics, international issues, make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
• Resolve issues and conflicts within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers.
• Manage timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) including risk & opportunity management.
• Support MRP Scheduling and Master Data requests.
• Travel domestically/internationally as required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Supply Chain experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Clearance: Secret). U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Office skillset.
• Advanced Supply Chain Planning tool experience (e.g., SAP/PRISM, Kinaxis, MFT, ROMS, etc.).
• Experience with proposals or material estimating.
• MPM Level 4 (or higher) Certification, PM Level 7 (or higher) Certification.
• EVMS Certification.

Benefits

Salary range 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
