Job summary

CesiumAstro, based in Westminster, Colorado, is seeking a Senior Material Planner to drive production and supply planning, optimize inventories, and mitigate material risks while aligning with customer commitments.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and suppliers to maintain ERP/MRP data, develop material strategies, and improve planning processes in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of material planning, production planning, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
Understanding of MRP, demand planning, inventory optimization, production scheduling, and supply planning methodologies.
Experience utilizing ERP systems and business reporting tools.
Analytical thinking with the ability to evaluate inventory performance, production demand, and supply risks.
Excellent organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated material plans aligned with production schedules and customer delivery.
Analyze material requirements, inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supply commitments.
Address shortages and excess inventory with corrective actions.
Support planning for new product introductions, engineering changes, transitions, and demand changes.
Coordinate with operations and manufacturing to ensure material readiness.
