Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Material Handler 2 to support receiving, storage, and issue of materials at the Logistics Service Center. You will use internal systems, verify stock, and maintain accurate records while ensuring safety and efficiency on the floor.

The role requires 3+ years with a HS diploma or 2+ years with an Associate’s, proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook, and forklift/telehandler experience. On-site work with a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with a High School Diploma / GED.
• 2+ years with an Associate’s Degree.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook; strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, verifying, and counting stock items and recording data.
• Verifying inventory computations by comparing counts.
• Investigating discrepancies and reconciling errors.
• Packing/unpacking items for stocking in storage areas.
• Labeling stock with identification tags and tools.
• Maintaining storage areas in compliance with safety policies.
• Developing knowledge of internal software: MR System, Equipment Transfer System.
• Assist training and mentoring less experienced staff.
• Maintain productivity and meet deadlines across tasks.
• Use MS Excel reporting and tracking features.
