Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring a Material Handler 2 to support receiving, storing, and issuing materials for the warehouse and suppliers. The role emphasizes accurate data, safety, and adherence to Logistics Service Center processes.

Responsibilities include stock verification, discrepancy investigation, labeling, and maintaining inventory records. Experience with MS Excel/Outlook and forklift operations is preferred, with strong teamwork and safety focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with a High School Diploma / GED, or 2+ years with an Associate's Degree.
• Proficiency with electrical design-build industry materials and Logistics Service Center processes at M.C. Dean, including but not limited to MS Excel and MS Outlook.
• Strong reporting and tracking skills with accuracy, productivity, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, verifying, and counting stock items and maintaining records.
• Verifying inventory computations by comparing to physical counts.
• Investigating inventory discrepancies and reconciling errors.
• Packing/unpacking items and stocking shelves.
• Marking stock items with identification tags and labels.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety compliance in storage areas.
• Storing items in a safe, orderly manner in warehouses and lay down areas.
• Inspecting items for wear and reporting damage.
• Maintaining records of stock usage and equipment.
• Using internal software systems: MRIS, Equipment Transfer System, and Procurement Mobile.
