Job summary

M.C. Dean in Texas is seeking a Material Handler II to join our Logistics Service Center, handling receiving, storing, and issuing materials and equipment across projects.

You will use MS Excel and Outlook for reporting, manage inventory, assist with lay down areas, and support safe, efficient material flow; forklift/telehandler experience is a plus. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, and involves working with various internal systems and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Outlook for reporting and tracking.
• Experience with inventory and logistics in a design/build environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, verifying, and counting stock items and recording data accurately.
• Verifying inventory counts against physical stock and investigating discrepancies.
• Packing and unpacking items to be stocked and stored properly.
• Labeling stock items and maintaining safe, organized storage areas.
• Maintaining documented records of stock usage and equipment.
• Using internal systems such as Material Requisition System and Equipment Transfer System.
• Supporting training and mentoring of less experienced staff and ensuring safety compliance.
