Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Greenville, NC is seeking a Sr. Material Handler to support the Supply Chain team with internal logistics, including movement and management of cold storage and shipments.

You will receive, store, pick, and prepare orders for internal and external customers while maintaining accuracy and safety. The role requires at least 2 years of warehouse experience, CDL preferred, and experience with powered industrial trucks in a CGMP environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain.
• CDL license is preferred.
• Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers, forklifts).
• Experience in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, sort, store, pick, and pack items for storage and shipment in accordance with procedures.
• Prepare and file routine documentation.
• Maintain quality metrics and accuracy of inventory records.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (hand truck, pallet jack, forklift).
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as required.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and freight providers for deliveries.
