Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment, LLC is seeking a Material Technician to support material handling and warehouse operations in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves safely receiving, moving, storing, freezing, thawing, and shipping materials while following GMP procedures and established SOPs.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, assisting inventory control in SAP or similar systems, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• GMP experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written SOPs.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, transfer, and prepare materials for production and shipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Support inventory control and material transactions using SAP or similar systems.
• Perform freezing, thawing, and shipping activities for pharmaceutical materials.
• Work in cold rooms, freezers, and controlled environments.
• Follow SOPs, documentation, and GMP procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and report safety or quality concerns.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
• Communicate production status with team members.
